{31 Days of Coastal Style} All Things Coral!


Yesterday's faux coral tutorial left me with coral on the brain, so today I thought I'd share a "roundup" of beautiful decor for the whole home, all starring this beautiful sea creature! (yes, despite it's "tree-like" appearance, coral is not a plant, but an animal!)

For the dining room:

Set a lovely coastal table-- or even a picnic-- with this three-piece melamine dinnerware set from Wayfair!
This gorgeous 5-light coral chandelier from Ballard Designs is definitely on my dream list! Top the bulbs with sisal or burlap shades, and hang it over a rustic farmhouse table for the perfect beach house dining room!
This handmade turquoise glass coral dish (from Uneek Glass Fusions on Etsy) would make a stunning table centerpiece all by itself-- even without anything in it!

For the living room:

Brush up on your knowledge of marine biology, and beautify your walls at the same time, with this framed coral species chart from Wayfair.

For the bedroom:

For the bathroom:

The Coral Reef shower curtain (from Overstock) provides a pop of beachy color. It would look fantastic paired with glossy white bathroom cabinetry! (Paint the upper walls a pale turquoise above white beadboard wainscoting, and add the bathroom rug pictured below, to bring together a cheerfully coastal bathroom!)

P.S. Me? I'd do it for a bathroom, maybe (I do really love the coral bathroom accents listed above), but anything else seems just, well, overwhelming!
